This rather naive novel was fun reading for location references. The characters are sweet, but I'm not sure they are very realistic in today's culture. Still fun to say "oh, we were there" and certainly no one would be offended by language:)

Finding True Love, sweet and tender story.
Dana Newman's book, "Found in Prague" takes a little European history mixes in some travel in Prague and creates a spellbinding romance story. The details of the Czech occupation by the Nazis and later the Soviet regime could only have been written by someone with first hand knowledge of the events. Her vivid description of Prague made me feel that I was actually walking with Katica across the Charles Bridge. Add some suspense and a wonderful love story and you have a book that is both fun and educational.
I really enjoyed reading Found in Prague. It was a quick, feel good read that transported me to the streets of Prague. The author described everything so beautifully that I felt the crispness of a winter stroll and tasted the sweetness of a cup of hot chocolate in a magical little cafe as if I were there. Katica is adorable, adventurous, and very spunky making her a fun character to follow. I would definitely recommend this book!
What a fun read! I loved the descriptions of Prague - I hadn't ever considered visiting before, but it sounds amazing! (Aside from the area near her hotel, ha!) The love story was so sweet and REAL and her journey to discover more about her family and their homeland was extremely touching - something I'd love to do myself, if I had as much courage as Katica. I'd definitely recommend this book!
Having never visited Europe myself, but having the normal American girl fascination with the history and princess-like backdrop it could set for a romance with a European man, this book was a fantastic depiction of every girl's fantasy. The other does a spectacular job using personal experience to give the characters life and evoke emotion from the reader. I would recommend this read to anyone looking for a good romance read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The authors descriptive accounts made it easy to join the Katica on her journey in Prague as well as her journey in love. It was a wonderful story, I could not put the book down. I read the book in two sittings and have recommended it to half a dozen people already!
I must first say that I read this book because Dana Newman's father is my first cousin, and I was curious. But Dana and I have only met a few times as she was growing up, so I don't consider myself particularly biased. Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this book. It is best suited for a teenager or young adult, yet it imparts the joy of travel and discovery and young love to those of any age. It also has a lot to say about the strength of family ties and history.
