The story line is well developed and thought of. It's definitely better than the first because it is longer and there are hot new male dragon characters introduced in this book that would make you hope for their own mage mate.

It is heart warming to see how the previous characters are doing. The book is action packed with a deeper story line, more interactions with the main characters, giving them time to get to know each other and fight their own battles.

Compared to her other books, this one has less (SPOILER ALERT) love making scenes, understandable given that Mel was marked by the blood mage in the previous book, it hindered General Solan's full mate awareness despite having feelings of possessiveness and attraction.

The book is quite cohesive, quirky/funny in some parts and the ending would make you think, what's going to happen next? It is intriguing!

Overall if you are a fan of K.L. and have read the first magebook then this one is a must read! If you haven't read the first I highly recommend you read the books one right after the other.

Kelly Lucille has done it again. Another one that I could not put down. I love a book that has action and love with some nail biting thrown in. These books are refreshing because they are different then most.
Great story for Melly, Solan was an awesome match up and character, definite lead ins for more books ( a little squee there!!) now I don't know whacks series of hers I'm craving more now!
I love this series with the wonderful story that Kelly weaves between the dragons, mage, and other creatures including humans. The authors ability to paint the pictures of the different scenes is amazing. I recommend reading in order to fully be immersed in the stories. Worth the money and time.
So this is Melisande and Solan's story. Another rollicking adventure with good guys, bad guys, suspense and romance. Solan is a huge man and Dragon who is the head of the Dragon warrior knights of light. Melliy is this tiny mage that the four Dragons along on her quest with her pretty much hang on her every word. It's cute. It's also swoon worthy the way Solan is so attentive to her every need. I definitely recommend this book. Enjoy!😀
Though this story stands quite well alone I highly recommend you read the first one. I am hooked both are very good. The way dragons and mages find their way together while forces from many sides try to thwart them keeps you interested. The fierce Dragon Knight's general fights beside his beloved to save her from a blood mage and learns of an even greater betrayal. The story grows richer with each book. Now I must start the third in the series. I love it!
Kelly Lucille is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors in this genre. This story, like the others in the series before it, have the action, suspense and passion that had me not wanting to put the book down once I'd started reading it. I love that the hero and heroine are so drawn to each other even when it's not clear that they are true mates. The lengths they'll each go through to keep the other from harm's way just melts my heart. I've read this story multiple times by now, and it's still just as good a read as the first time. Loved it! Want more!
Web of Bones was simply fanfreakingtastic! The way General Solan Fire-Eater plans to place himself in Melisande's life is a great way to show how cunning he is. He is strong, dominant, caring and completely hot! Melisande, thinks that she is weak, because her strength is different that that of her siblings, Solan knows better. The dialogue and chemistry between them is wonderfully "real". Speaking of chemstry, whew! Hot, hot, hot! Break out your ice packs, your cold drinks, and your significant other, LOL! The book also introduces you to some new characters that I hope/know will have their own books in the future. Just as The Dragon's Mage (the first book in the series) did, this one will leave you waiting so very impatiently for the next in the series. This book is definitely good for multiple reads. I know, I've already read it several times, LOL!
